Open Source

This website is fully open source. The complete source code is available on GitHub. We believe in transparency and community-driven development — contributions, bug reports, and suggestions are welcome.

The website is built as a static site hosted on GitHub Pages, with Supabase providing the PostgreSQL database backend for member registration, blog posts, events, job board, and other dynamic features. This architecture means the site is fast, free to host, and — most importantly — powered by PostgreSQL.

Design

The website design is inspired by the official postgresql.org website — using the signature PostgreSQL blue (#336791), Maven Pro and Open Sans typefaces, and a clean, professional layout familiar to the global PostgreSQL community.

Features

The website includes: member registration and profiles, a blog platform with rich text and Markdown editors, an events system with RSVP, a job board, photo gallery, contact form, FAQ, news section, resources library, sponsors page, global community links, admin panel for content moderation, RSS feed, SEO optimization with sitemap, and responsive design for all devices.

All dynamic data is stored in a PostgreSQL database via Supabase, making this website a practical demonstration of what PostgreSQL can power.
